Raffrey Pipe Band has been running for many years now, even though many of these years the band functioned outside the contesting arena. Due to the dedication of the band, its members and the support from their families and friends, it has grown from strength to strength over the past five contesting seasons.
Now under the leadership of Pipe Major Francis Strain and Drum Sergeant Ian Cherry, the band never stops striving for success, and has proven so by moving quickly through the grades. Now in Grade 3A, and with a strong contingent of young players Raffrey Pipe Band will continue to light up the arena and impress spectators and judges alike. |
